ZWB Promotional Poster 1
OVERVIEW
This is a campaign designed specifically for implementation at larger community events to create awareness about how much waste is produced by the public. It first includes use of biodegradable/ compostable plates, cups and "plastic"ware (at food vendors), and second, the use of compost bins for food waste, in addition to bins for recyclables and landfill (trash). The intention of the campaign was: that through more bins and increased education about how we can separate our "trash," that ultimately the amount of landfill produced at these events is significantly decreased. Compost collected was used at local farms. 6 posters were created leading up to the event (initially designed for Winterfest Bend, but flexible for use at any event), and 2 posters were displayed on bins to motivate people to think more carefully about separating their waste before dumping.
